In 1957, Schmidt Storm Shelters was founded by our father and grandfather. For over 58 years, we've been building in-ground concrete storm shelters to help families protect themselves. We pride ourselves on still being a family-owned and operated business, providing our clients with the workmanship and service that only our small business can.

Our shelters are built-on-site concrete storm shelters, with the largest shelters having a 7' x 11' interior, similar to a small bedroom. With electricity and a few comfy chairs, you can wait out the storm in luxury. We're proud to offer safe rooms built by FamilySAFE Shelters.
